Day 19 – 30 Days Wild

Yet another wet day… I was looking out of the window & saw a reasonably large Black Slug, that’s when I got the idea for todays video (below) πŸ˜‰

Day 18 – 30 Days Wild

At the end of May I became an Ambassador for The Rivers Trust, so I decided to go sit next to a stretch of the River Rea, on the edge of Gannow Wood.

Day 17 – 30 Days Wild

Went for a walk around my local Wood and Green-belt today, when I was out a storm rolled in 🌧️

Rather than head home, I decided to stay out a bit, to listen to the rain & thunder whilst outside β›ˆοΈ

Day 16 – 30 Days Wild

This afternoon I was observing the clouds, watching them drift by, so I got footage of them ⛅️ But as I was editing, a Thunderstorm hit, so I focused my attention on that and recorded a chunk of the storm, to capture the amazing rolling thunder β›ˆ

Day 15 – 30 Days Wild

Today I visited an Urban Organic Micro Farm, called Rea Spring Gardens – which is a short walk away. It is own and ran by a lovely, enthusiastic couple, Charlie and Ashley, who farm with wildlife and the environment in mind 🌍

In the video below, you get to see what they grow and the animals they keep! πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸŒΎ

Day 14 – 30 Days Wild

This morning I unsure what to do, thankfully a friend reminded me that I’m passionate about Green-belt & suggested I make a video (below) regarding its benefits.

Day 13 – 30 Days Wild

I’m going to let the video (below) speak for itself πŸ™‚

Day 12 – 30 Days Wild

It has been great for Birdsong lately, hasn’t it? Since lockdown I have heard some great birds from the back garden 🎢

To be honest, I am already familiar with what song belongs to which bird πŸ™‚

In my video I’ve labelled each birdsong / call πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Wildlife in August

A lot of birds are quieting down now, but Yellowhammers 🐀 are continuing to sing away!  Plus this is another great month for seeing some beautiful Butterflies! πŸ¦‹

Enthuse About Nature

16/06/16

TWT 30 Days Wild_countdown_16

I was at the Birmingham N.E.C yesterday and today – as a member of Press – to report on BBC Gardeners’ World Live (but my focus was on the wild side of it).

I interviewed a number of interesting people (the interviews haven’t all been edited together yet) and in the video below, I have taken a selection of clips from the interviews; showing gardeners – from all walks of life – enthusing about nature:
